My name is Steffie Lucchesi & I have been an animation editor in the Los Angeles area for over 10 years. During this time I was nominated for an Annie Award for Editorial, contributed to an Emmy winning episode for my directors, & have worked on some amazing projects with great people. This is a dream come true!
When I wasn't watching, writing, or drawing cartoons as a kid, I was figure skating & playing the drums. The latter resulted in a college scholarship where I earned a BA in Percussion at Biola University's conservatory of music as well as a second BA in Radio/TV/Film.
I started my career as an intern on The Simpsons, King of the Hill, and The Simpsons Movie. From there I transitioned into Post Production where I found my true love, editing! In editorial I can combine my love of animation with my experience in rhythm & timing from my years in music. Editing also gives an exciting challenge of keeping the project to the time allowed while still keeping the necessities for storytelling.
A proud member of the Editor's Guild Local 700, ASIFA-Hollywood, the Animation Peer Group of the Television Academy, & Women in Animation.
While working at Titmouse Animation I participated in their #5SecondDay event & created this short film using Photoshop and Final Cut Pro to animate with. Enjoy!
